After right upper lobe lung resection, patients may feel shortness of breath, chest tightness, and panic when they move around, and feel that they do not have enough air. This is because of the short-term decline in lung function that occurs after right upper lobe lung resection. Because the upper lobe of the right lung accounts for about 30% of the function, lung function has not returned to normal within 2-3 weeks after removal of the upper lobe of the right lung. After about 2 months after the right upper lobe resection, after the right lower and middle lobe expansion and slow exercise, the lung function will return to the preoperative state in about 2 months, and the patient will no longer experience chest tightness, shortness of breath, or insufficient air.
