The appearance of white bumps inside the eyelids is a sign of local inflammation, such as mydriasis and eyelid abscess. For this condition, topical anti-infection treatment is recommended with eye drops or eye ointment, such as levofloxacin hydrochloride eye drops, tobramycin eye drops, and erythromycin eye ointment. This needs to be combined with localized hot compresses on the eyelids, using warm water towels on the eyelid surface for about 10-15 minutes 3-4 times a day. With this treatment, the local inflammation will slowly improve and subside. If the abscess is large and conservative treatment is not effective, surgical treatment may be considered. Incision on the surface of the abscess and complete drainage of the pus is necessary to make the disease better and to avoid further expansion of the infection. Patients who have this condition should go to the hospital for regular treatment.
