Dilated cardiomyopathy is asymptomatic in the early stage, but aggravation of the disease may result in symptoms of left heart insufficiency, right heart insufficiency, and combined arrhythmia. Patients with dilated cardiomyopathy usually have an insidious onset and may not have symptoms in the early stage. Dyspnea and decreased activity tolerance may also be seen during activity. As the disease progresses, patients may develop symptoms of left heart insufficiency such as nocturnal paroxysmal dyspnea and sedentary breathing. Gradually, symptoms of right heart insufficiency such as decreased appetite, abdominal distension, and lower limb edema appear. When combined with arrhythmia, palpitations, dizziness, blackouts and even sudden death may also occur. Patients may also exhibit persistent hypotension. When combined with pulmonary embolism, symptoms such as chest pain and hemoptysis may also occur. Dilated cardiomyopathy is recommended to go to the hospital in time and avoid self-medication.
