Normal allergic reactions to the skin usually heal in 1-2 weeks. But some chronic allergic reactions, or those caused by drug allergies, may take longer. Usually if it is chronic hives, it takes about one and a half to two months of continuous medication to get it under control, and in some cases it can take longer. If the exfoliative dermatitis is caused by drug allergy, hormone therapy needs to be given. If the hormone dosage is more than one week, the medication needs to be stopped gradually, not suddenly, so as not to cause the rash to recur, so the treatment also needs more than two weeks. After the appearance of atopic dermatitis it is recommended to actively search for the cause and avoid contact with suspected allergens to avoid recurrence of allergic reactions.
