What causes body hair to grow in abundance

Exuberant growth of body hair may be caused by physiological factors such as heredity; it may also be caused by diseases such as hirsutism and polycystic ovary syndrome. 1. Physiological factors: Hair length and sparseness will be affected by the genetic factors of the parents. If the parents are hairy, the child’s hair will also be affected by the genes, which is a normal phenomenon and does not require special treatment. 2. Hirsutism: If you suffer from adrenal tumors, Cushing’s syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and other diseases, it may induce hirsutism, so that the patient’s body hair grows exuberantly. 3. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): Hormone level disorders, familial ovulation dysfunction and other factors may induce PCOS, resulting in the patient’s body hair growth exuberant, menstrual cycle disorders and other symptoms. There may be other reasons for hair growth. After eliminating physiological factors, patients are advised to go to regular hospitals for consultation and treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease.
