A 1.1 cm ground glass nodule is more serious.
Mulliglass nodules are usually categorized into transient and persistent nodules. If the nodule is transient, it is usually due to infection by pathogenic bacteria and is benign, so it only needs to be examined regularly.
If there are persistent ground-glass nodules in the lungs, it is considered to be focal fibrosis and early-stage lung cancer. If it is early-stage lung cancer, it is more serious, and it is usually judged according to the morphological characteristics of the ground-glass nodules, and if it has the malignant sign of vacuolar sign or lobular sign, it needs to be aggressively dealt with and treated.
If no malignant signs are found in ground-glass nodules, the usual treatment is regular review, i.e., regular review of chest CT to monitor the changes of ground-glass nodules. Meanwhile, attention should also be paid to life and diet: quit smoking and drinking, avoid too sweet and salty food, and avoid spicy and irritating food, such as chili and pepper.
