The survey conducted by the Institute of Dermatology of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences shows that 58.6% of the 320 psoriasis patients do not know anything about psoriasis; 8.6% of them consult doctors about the knowledge; 89% of them do not read the scientific knowledge of psoriasis; 24% of them think it can be cured; 72.6% of them believe in various advertisements; and 65.7% of them have received individual doctor Those who had received treatment from individual doctors accounted for 65.7%. The lack of knowledge about psoriasis and the blind pursuit of a cure have led many patients and their families to believe in some advertisements and seek medical treatment indiscriminately, to aggravate the disease through misuse and abuse of drugs, and even to cause serious consequences. Therefore, the prevention and control of psoriasis must strengthen the popularization of knowledge about psoriasis, and regular medical treatment and good health education can make the condition better or even cure it. Health education for psoriasis patients includes the following points: 1. Awareness of the disease: so that patients can correctly understand the occurrence of the disease and establish confidence in overcoming the disease. This includes epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, impact on the organism, treatment purpose and status, precautions, etc. 2.Psychological guidance: for the negative psychology of psoriasis patients, give them correct psychological guidance and spiritual encouragement so that they can accept treatment with a good attitude. 3.Treatment guidance: tell patients not to believe in the propaganda of “cure for all”, not to seek medical treatment indiscriminately, and to seek medical treatment in regular hospitals; not to abuse drugs, such as corticosteroids, anti-cancer drugs and immunosuppressants; avoid stimulation and scratching during the acute period to prevent aggravation of skin lesions; avoid taking drugs that may aggravate the disease, such as hormones, propranolol, tetracycline, lithium, etc. Lol, tetracycline, lithium, antimalarials, ampicillin, anti-inflammatory pain, pau taisong, acetylsalicylic acid, interferon, etc. According to the patient’s economic situation, choose inexpensive and cost-effective treatment programs for patients. 4, dietary guidance: reasonable diet, to consume the right amount of protein, vitamins and trace elements, etc. Eat less beef, mutton, because of its high content of arachidonic acid; should avoid spicy food, in order to avoid skin vasodilation, aggravating the disease. Do not be too strict abstinence from food, so as not to cause serious malnutrition. Avoid smoking and alcoholism. 5, activity guidance: combine work and rest, avoid humidity; appropriate physical exercise to enhance physical fitness; pay attention to cold and warmth to prevent upper respiratory tract infections; self-protection, avoid trauma to prevent isomorphic reaction.
