The rash caused by HFMD is usually not itchy, and if it is it is very occasional. The rash of HFMD is mainly concentrated in the oral cavity, perioral area, palms, feet and anus, and some children can find HFMD rash on the trunk, which requires standardized antiviral treatment. Since there are dozens of enteroviruses that cause HFMD, it is not the case that once you get HFMD you will not get it again, the type of infection is different and you can get HFMD again. It is generally recommended that children should not go to densely ventilated public places, such as shopping malls and naughty bags, during an HFMD epidemic. Be sure to wash your hands immediately after playing outside and then eat food.
