Endometriosis is the growth of endometrial tissue outside of the uterus, with mild to moderate degrees representing a different distribution of lesions. Mild means that the endometriotic lesions are scattered, with no visible cysts, minor adhesions or no visible adhesions. Moderate means that the lesions are predominantly distributed unilaterally or bilaterally in the ovary, with multiple lesions and endometrial cyst formation. Severe is defined as endometriotic cysts larger than 3 centimeters in diameter, with significant adhesions, and also tender nodules and lesions involving the rectal bladder. It is recommended that patients with endometriosis go to the obstetrics and gynecology department of the hospital in time for targeted treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
