For patients with severe oligospermia, please come to our male doctor on the day of your loved one’s overnight injection. Our male doctor will arrange for you to: 1. Retain sperm the day before and the day of egg retrieval, respectively, and then develop a step-by-step plan on the day of egg retrieval based on the semen situation observed in the embryo lab and the number of eggs retrieved by your loved one. If the semen is okay, we will use the sperm from the semen; 2. If the semen is not good, we will choose testicular puncture for sperm retrieval or emergency microscopic testicular sperm retrieval depending on the size of the testicles.
