Where the sperm and egg meet

The sperm and egg meet in the fallopian tube. If you have intercourse before ovulation, the sperm reaches the fallopian tube and waits for the egg after about one and a half to six hours, and the sperm survives for two to three days. If the egg has been expelled during the sperm survival time, the egg will enter the fallopian tube and unite with the sperm in about 10 minutes under the action of the umbilical end of the fallopian tube. If you have intercourse on the day of ovulation or after ovulation, the egg will first wait for the sperm in the fallopian tube. Once intercourse has taken place, the sperm enters the fallopian tube and unites with the egg to form a fertilized egg. The fertilized egg then enters the uterine cavity and lays in the fallopian tube, and this is the entire process of pregnancy. If you are planning to get pregnant, you should have intercourse during ovulation.
