Bone spurs heel can be given closed injections for analgesia, but not for treatment of bone spurs. Physiotherapy and acupuncture can be given to those who do not have severe symptoms of bone spur heel, and surgery should be performed when accompanied by nerve root and blood vessel entrapment.
Bone spur patients with closed needle can relieve the symptoms of pain, it can play the role of anti-inflammatory and analgesic. However, it can not completely cure bone spurs from the root, when the effect of the closed needle has lost its effect, the pain and other symptoms will reappear.
For those with mild bone spurs and less severe symptoms, physiotherapy, acupuncture and closed injections can be given. For severe bone spurs with nerve roots, blood vessels and other structural compression, surgical treatment is needed, such as osteotomy and orthopedic surgery to relieve the adverse effects of bone spurs on the neighboring tissues and structures, thus reducing the symptoms associated with bone spurs.
If bone spurs are diagnosed, early and standardized treatment is recommended to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
