How long does it usually take for cervicitis to heal?

How long it takes to cure cervicitis usually depends on the patient’s constitution and the severity of the disease, and usually takes from half a month to two months. Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease, mainly due to damage to the cervix or the invasion of pathogens, there are acute and chronic. Acute cervicitis is usually characterized by increased leucorrhea, lower abdominal pain, contact bleeding, etc. It needs to be treated with oral antibiotics against the pathogens, and local vaginal drug treatment is not recommended to avoid the spread of inflammation, which may usually be cured in about half a month. If it is chronic cervicitis, it can be treated by physical means such as microwave, ironing, freezing or medication, which takes a relatively long time to heal and needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. It is recommended that patients with cervicitis visit the gynecology department of a regular hospital to improve the routine leuko, colposcopy and other related examinations to determine the type of cervicitis and then under the guidance of a professional doctor for standardized treatment.
