How intestinal tumors look like

Intestinal tumors are abnormal neoplastic masses that occur in the gastrointestinal tract, including the duodenum, small intestine, colorectum and other locations, and can be classified as benign intestinal tumors and malignant intestinal tumors, as well as junctional intestinal tumors. Benign intestinal tumors are commonly adenomas or polyps. Malignant intestinal tumors, including sarcomas derived from mesenchymal tissue and carcinomas derived from glandular epithelial cells. Junctional tumors are commonly mesenchymal tumors of the intestine. Tumors of the intestine can be mild to no obvious clinical symptoms, or they can present with obvious symptoms such as blood in the stool, abdominal pain, abdominal masses, changes in stool habits and stool properties, and anemia, wasting, and malnutrition.
