The patient’s right upper arm lipoma was excised completely, with little postoperative pain and good healing of the incision, and he was discharged. The patient’s right upper arm lipoma was excised under local anesthesia. He complained of a large lump on his right upper arm. At first, he thought it was fine and did not care about it, but later it became bigger and bigger and now it is the size of a date. In order to clarify the diagnosis, the patient underwent superficial ultrasound examination of the right upper arm. The patient’s superficial ultrasound showed a solid hypoechoic mass in the subcutaneous fat layer of the right upper arm, and the patient was initially diagnosed as a lipoma of the right upper arm. The patient was admitted to the hospital for blood cell analysis, coagulation routine, eight items of infection, routine electrocardiogram and other tests, and the results were not significantly abnormal. After the onset of anesthesia, an incision was made in the right upper arm in the direction consistent with the skin pattern up to the peritoneum of the lipoma, and then blunt peeling was performed with hemostatic forceps until the lipoma was completely peeled off and excised, and the excised mass was sent for pathological examination. III. Treatment effect After surgery, no significant blood and fluid oozing from the incision was seen. On the second day after surgery, the patient’s pathological results came out, which showed a lipoma of the right upper arm. After a 3-day inpatient surgery, the patient’s right upper arm lipoma was completely excised with little postoperative pain, good healing of the incision, no bleeding and oozing, and a good treatment effect, and was subsequently discharged. The patient was then discharged from the hospital and instructed to come to the hospital for regular review after discharge, to remove the stitches in the outpatient clinic 10 days after surgery, and to go home to strengthen nutrition, rest and avoid staying up late. IV. Precautions We are glad that the patient’s symptoms are relieved after treatment. After surgery, the patient should pay attention to the following points. 1, the patient should actively cooperate with the doctor after surgery to change the medicine, so that the doctor can visually observe the healing of the incision, whether there is infection and other conditions, and timely symptomatic treatment of problems, which is conducive to the recovery of the patient’s condition; 2, the patient try to rest in the left side or lying down during hospitalization, to avoid resting in the right side, which compresses the position of the incision and makes the incision heal poorly; 3, in daily life, we should pay attention to a low-fat diet, do not Eat fatty meat and other high-fat foods, and foods with high cholesterol content are best not to eat, such as animal liver. You should pay attention to a light diet and eat more fruits and vegetables; 4. V. Doctor’s insight In itself, lipoma belongs to a benign tumor, patients usually have no obvious clinical symptoms, and the growth rate is slow, and generally does not affect life, so when patients do not have symptoms, generally do not need treatment, but the above-mentioned patients need timely treatment due to the increasing size of lipoma, the common clinical treatment is surgery, there is no effective drug can treat lipoma There is no effective drug to treat lipoma. The above mentioned patients have a positive attitude towards treatment and recover well after surgery, but they need to be reviewed regularly in hospital to prevent recurrence.
