Chest pain may be caused by overwork, pleurisy, coronary heart disease, trauma, pneumothorax and so on.
1. Overexertion: when patients are overworked and do not get enough rest, it may cause strain and lactic acid accumulation in the chest muscles of the patients, resulting in chest pain.
2. Pleurisy: due to pneumonia, tuberculosis, rheumatoid arthritis, tumors and so on, patients may develop pleurisy, the adhesion and friction between the wall pleura and the dirty pleura, resulting in the phenomenon of chest pain.
3. Coronary heart disease: patients with coronary artery atherosclerosis lesions, causing vascular lumen narrowing or obstruction, resulting in myocardial ischemia, hypoxia or necrosis, resulting in the phenomenon of chest pain.
4. Trauma: when external violence acts on the chest wall, the soft tissues of the chest wall, sternum and ribs are damaged, which leads to chest pain.
5. Pneumothorax: when the patient suffers from underlying lung diseases, such as emphysema, pulmonary pustules, or when the patient is tall and thin, pneumothorax may occur after strenuous activities or sudden change of position, resulting in symptoms of chest pain and dyspnea.
