Herbal remedies for liver cysts

There is no traditional Chinese medicine prescription for hepatic cysts, which is a benign lesion of the liver and can be treated by medication (e.g. albendazole) and surgery. 1. Drug treatment: cystic liver cysts caused by cystic hepatic encystment can be treated with anti-encystment drugs, such as mebendazole, albendazole, phenylpropylimidazole, etc., and generally need to be combined with surgical treatment; and levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, etc. can be used in anti-infection treatment when there is concomitant bacterial infection. 2. Surgery: simple liver cysts can be treated by cyst opening surgery; large cysts outside the left lobe of the liver and at the edge of the lobe can be treated by partial hepatectomy; polycystic liver with severe symptoms can be treated by liver transplantation when other treatments are ineffective. It is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time for treatment, and strictly follow the doctor’s instructions for medication.
