Pain is a major reason for orthopedic patient visits and a major concern for surgery. Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience caused by tissue damage or potential tissue damage. Pain has been recognized as the fifth vital sign after temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Pathologic classifications: injurious pain, neuropathic pain, and mixed pain. Post-surgical pain is classified as acute injurious pain. Harmful effects of pain 1, unable or afraid to cough hard, not conducive to phlegm expulsion, leading to lung infection. 2.Restriction of activities, causing joint stiffness and muscle atrophy. 3.Pain restricts limb activity, not dare to cough – DVT. 4.Heart rate increases, blood pressure increases, leading to irritability, insomnia, anxiety induced by internal diseases. The purpose of pain treatment: 1, reduce postoperative pain, improve the quality of life of patients. 2.To enable patients to carry out rehabilitation training earlier and improve the quality of final treatment. 3.Reduce postoperative complications. 4.Improve the patient’s overall evaluation of the quality of surgery.
