What to do if your stomach hurts and you have a fever

There are often more reasons for fever in the stomach: first, you need to do abdominal CT or abdominal ultrasound to see if there is mesenteric lymphadenitis or appendicitis. If there is mesenteric lymphadenitis, antibiotic treatment is needed, and oral cefradine, cefixime or cefadroxil is recommended for anti-inflammatory treatment. For symptoms of fever, oral ibuprofen suspension is recommended to reduce fever whenever the body temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees. In case of appendicitis causing stomach pain and fever, the treatment is more complicated and generally surgical treatment is used as much as possible as long as conditions allow. It also does not exclude tummy pain and fever caused by acute gastroenteritis, which often has inflammatory manifestations in the stool routine and requires oral antibiotic treatment. In the case of adults, oral norfloxacin anti-inflammatory treatment is recommended.
