Boys with hernias in their lower body are usually treated through surgery. A hernia is a relatively common condition meaning that a part of a body tissue or organ has left its original location and entered another part through a defect or weakness in another part. The main causes of hernia formation are reduced abdominal wall strength and increased intra-abdominal pressure, such as infections, poorly healed surgical incisions, chronic coughing, constipation and urinary difficulties. In adults, hernias do not usually close on their own and can only be treated surgically. There are two types of surgery: simple high hernia sac ligation and hernia repair. Hernia repair can be further categorized into tension-free hernia repair and transperitoneal hernia repair. If the patient has been clearly diagnosed, it is recommended to immediately go to the hospital, do the appropriate examination, and if necessary, timely surgery, so as not to delay the condition.
