Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformation: When will you return to normal after the curry knife?

The time for cerebral arteriovenous malformation to return to normal after Gamma Knife varies from person to person, with about 90% of patients being cured within 3 years.
The principle of Gamma Knife in treating arteriovenous malformation is that the rays cause damage to the endothelium of the blood vessel, thus causing it to proliferate and thicken, and ultimately achieve the purpose of lumen closure. Therefore, this is a long-term process, which will not be effective immediately after Gamma Knife, and it usually takes 1 to 2 years, and some patients may need a longer period of time.
Although a small number of patients are cured 2 to 3 months after Gamma Knife, after investigation and follow-up studies, about 50% of patients are cured one year after the operation, 80% are cured two years after the operation, and 90% are cured three years after the operation.
