Currently, IgA nephritis targeted drugs can be seen as rituximab. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to the B cell surface antigen CD20. Rituximab binds to the CD20 antigen on the surface of B cells and specifically clears B cells. The drug has been shown to be effective in a variety of autoimmune diseases. Therefore, rituximab can be used as a targeted drug for the treatment of IgA nephritis. However, rituximab is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the components of the drug, pregnant and breastfeeding women, acute stages of rheumatoid arthritis, and people with severe heart failure. The drug needs to be used under the guidance of a doctor and avoid self-medication. Patients with IgA nephritis are advised to go to regular hospitals in time and give targeted treatment or therapy under doctor’s guidance.
