What women are tested for to see if they are fertile

There are more infertility tests for women, which can be performed from the most common items to the uncommon ones respectively. The causes of infertility in women mainly include congenital reproductive system problems and disorders of hormone levels in the body. The more common ones are abnormal development of the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, or hormonal disorders in the body, resulting in abnormal thickness of the endometrium, abnormal egg development, and inability to ovulate normally. Ultrasound is needed to check the development of the uterus and to determine whether the thickness of the endometrium is within the normal range according to the physiological cycle. The size of the ovaries and the size of the follicles in the ovaries should be checked. If there are no abnormal problems, an imaging of the woman’s fallopian tubes is performed to detect most of the causes of infertility.
