Nine-month-old babies can be excluded from epilepsy by clinical symptoms, electroencephalogram and imaging tests. 1. Clinical symptoms, clinically, children with epilepsy in the early stage can appear hair loss, irritability and easy to wake up from sleep; some patients can have the typical manifestations of foaming at the mouth, apnea, limb twitching, which can be accompanied by urinary incontinence and tongue biting. 2. Electroencephalogram is the most important clinical examination for epilepsy patients, which is very helpful for seizure type, diagnosis and syndrome typing. 3. Cranial MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) can detect the lesions that cause epilepsy, and developmental abnormalities of the cortex are the most common clinical cause of epilepsy in children. The combination of these tools can help clinicians to rule out epilepsy.
