What is circumcision?

Circumcision, also known as circumcision, refers to the removal of excess foreskin from the top of the penis so that the head of the penis can be exposed, and is the most effective treatment for both phimosis and circumcision. Indications for the surgery are as infants and young children who have a narrow foreskin opening that interferes with urination or recurrent infections. As an adult, the circumcision is long, recurrently infected, sexually uncomfortable or circumcised. Current surgical procedures include traditional hand suturing, the use of disposable circumcision suture devices, and the use of instruments such as commercial rings, each of which is highly sophisticated. There may be risks of edema, bleeding, hematoma, and infection after the surgery, and the stitches are removed in about a week or the suture staples fall off by themselves in about a month after the surgery.
