Hepatocellular carcinoma is a type of cholangiocarcinoma, which is classified into intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, hepatoportal cholangiocarcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma according to its location. 1. Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: refers to malignant tumors occurring in intrahepatic bile ducts, which belong to cholangiocellular carcinoma. 2. Hepatoportal cholangiocarcinoma: refers to malignant tumors occurring in the left and right hepatic ducts and the common hepatic duct. 3. Cholangiocarcinoma of common bile duct: refers to bile duct cancer below the cystic duct. Among them, hepatoportal cholangiocarcinoma is more common. Clinical manifestations include progressive and painless jaundice, potter’s stool and itching, and anorexia and nausea in some patients. Surgical resection of tumor is the only means to cure cholangiocarcinoma. Different treatments are adopted according to the site and stage of tumor presence. Patients who cannot undergo surgery can choose chemotherapy and other means. It is recommended to go to regular hospitals for consultation and treatment, and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with the treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
