Firstly, Chlamydia trachomatis infection during pregnancy is not an indication for caesarean section. For pregnant women who were untreated during pregnancy, treatment for Chlamydia trachomatis needs to be completed immediately after admission to hospital. In the absence of other obstetric comorbidities, vaginal delivery is preferred to end the pregnancy. After the birth of the newborn, medication is given in the first instance to avoid Chlamydia trachomatis infection.
