How long does it take for the endothelial echogenicity to recover?

Most endometrial echogenicity can be recovered in about 2 weeks, but the recovery time varies depending on the patient’s age, physical condition and severity of the disease. Uneven endometrial echogenicity is an objective description of the endometrium on ultrasound, indicating uneven distribution of capillaries or uneven filling of cells in the endometrium, which usually indicates polypoid hyperplasia or polypoid changes in the endometrium, resulting in uneven endometrial echogenicity on ultrasound images. In other cases, the endometrium is not fully repaired during the recovery process after an abortion, resulting in an uneven echogenicity. In addition, uneven endometrial echogenicity may also be caused by recurrent vaginal bleeding. Patients need to visit the hospital and follow medical advice to promote endometrial recovery with medication. If necessary, diagnostic scraping should be performed and the scrapings should be sent to the pathology laboratory for further examination and treatment based on the pathology results.
