Kidney Cancer Pathology Report Which Kidney Cancer Is Less Likely to Recur

Among the renal cancers, renal clear cell carcinoma, papillary carcinoma, and smoky cell carcinoma have a better prognosis and are less likely to recur. 1. Clear cell renal carcinoma: It is the most common pathological type of renal cancer, accounting for 60%~85% of renal cancer patients. 5-year survival rate of early clear cell renal carcinoma after surgical resection is as high as 100%, which has a better prognosis and is relatively less prone to recurrence. 2. Papillary cell carcinoma: this pathological type accounts for about 7%~14% of kidney cancer patients, which can be treated by surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, etc. Early survival rate after surgery and other related treatments is up to 80%~90%, with better prognosis. 3. Smoky cell carcinoma: this type accounts for about 4%~10% of the pathological types, and clinically it is mainly treated by surgery, and the 5-year survival rate after early treatment can reach 78%~100%, with better prognosis and less likely to recur. The cure rate and prognosis of early-stage cancer are better than that of late-stage cancer, and it is less likely to recur after surgery, therefore, it is recommended that early treatment be carried out once it is found to avoid the deterioration of the condition.
