Young people writing hand tremor may be physiological, may also be pathological factors such as hyperthyroidism, cervical spondylosis, brain diseases, Parkinson’s syndrome and other causes.
1. Physiological hand tremor: such as writing too much tension, excitement, anxiety, muscle fatigue or hold the pen in the wrong position, to maintain the same position for too long can cause physiological writing hand tremor. The symptoms can be gradually relieved after calming down and taking proper rest.
3. Pathological hand tremor
(1) Hyperthyroidism: If, in addition to hand shaking when writing, there are symptoms of metabolic hyperactivity such as suddenness, irritability, increase in appetite, weight loss, and accelerated heart rate, then it is considered to be the writing hand shaking caused by hyperthyroidism.
(2) Cervical spondylosis: the protruding intervertebral discs such as cervical disc herniation compress the nerve roots, causing numbness and weakness of the hand muscles, and the symptom of trembling hand when writing.
(3) Brain diseases: such as hepatic encephalopathy, cerebral atrophy, etc., which oppresses or inhibits the motor neurons in the brain, resulting in the symptom of involuntary hand trembling.
(4) Parkinson’s syndrome: a neurological disease, can directly affect the limb activity, so such patients can also appear writing hand tremor symptoms, accompanied by foot shaking, slow movement.
Excluding physiological factors, if young people write long-term symptoms of hand tremor, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner, improve the head CT and other examinations, combined with their own medical history to clarify the cause of active treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
