Pressing the Sanyinjiao can play a role in the treatment of gynecological inflammation, however, it should not be relied upon solely to treat the disease. Sanyinjiao belongs to the twelve meridians on the spleen meridian, located in the lower leg, taking the point 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle. This point can serve to activate blood circulation and regulate menstruation (regulating menstruation by activating blood circulation), benefit qi and strengthen the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), and tonify the liver and kidneys, and it is the place where the three yin meridians of the foot meet. It is widely used clinically for a variety of gynecological disorders, including irregular menstruation, yin ting (a woman’s uterus prolapsing or even prolapsing out of the vaginal opening), and leucorrhoea. Gynecological inflammation can also be treated by massaging this point. In addition, the point can also treat spermatorrhea, impotence and other reproductive system disorders. However, gynecological inflammation cannot be treated by massaging this point alone. It is recommended that the massage operation be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.
