What are the ways in which hemophilia is inherited?

There are four ways in which hemophilia A can be inherited: 1. When a hemophilia A patient marries a normal woman, the resulting son is normal and all daughters are carriers. 2. A normal male marries a female carrier, and 50% of the resulting sons may have hemophilia A and 50% of the daughters may be carriers. 3. If a hemophiliac A patient marries a female carrier, the probability of his daughter being a hemophiliac and a carrier is 50% each, and the probability of his son being born with the disease is 50%. 4. When both men and women with hemophilia marry, all their children will be hemophiliacs. The mode of inheritance of hemophilia B is similar to that of hemophilia A. The daughters of hemophilia B patients are all carriers and the sons are normal.
