Children’s ears are swollen and very red, can be related to insect bite dermatitis, frostbite, auricular suppurative chondritis and other causes.
1. Insect bite dermatitis: when the child is bitten by certain insects such as in summer, more mosquitoes bite the ear, stimulate the skin, can make the ear feel itchy or mildly swollen and painful, after scratching, can make the localization further redness and swelling.
2. 3. Auricular purulent chondritis: can be caused by surgery, trauma or frostbite and other secondary infections, acute purulent inflammation of the auricular cartilage membrane can cause auricular swelling and pain, and the auricle can be seen as red and swollen, with the aggravation of the condition, the scope of the gradual increase.
