The normal value of red blood cells is (4.0-5.5)*10^12/L for males and (3.5-5.0)*10^12/L for females. The normal value of platelets is (100-300)*10^9/L.
Red blood cells, if above normal, may be due to severe heart and lung diseases such as pulmonary heart disease, chronic obstructive emphysema, and chronic myeloproliferative disorders. If below normal, they are mostly seen in diseases such as anemia if iron deficiency anemia, aplastic anemia, and acute and chronic hemorrhagic anemia.
Platelets if more than the normal value, mostly seen in chronic granulocytic leukemia, primary thrombocythemia, etc., lower than the normal value of the primary thrombocytopenic purpura, systemic lupus erythematosus, disseminated intravascular coagulation and other diseases.
If there is any abnormality of red blood cells or platelets, you should seek medical treatment in time.
