What are the causes of aortic coarctation?

I believe that many people have heard of aortic coarctation, especially many elderly people are prone to such diseases, so what are the causes of aortic coarctation? 1, the cause of aortic coarctation is not yet very clear, degenerative changes in the middle layer of the aorta make its elastic tissue metamorphosis, aortic coarctation, especially proximal aortic coarctation, may be a more serious and common complications. 2. Aortic coarctation in women under 40 years of age occurs during pregnancy, and mostly within the first trimester of pregnancy and early in the puerperium. The risk of acute aortic coarctation increases during pregnancy in women with dilated aortic roots, which may also be a significant risk factor during pregnancy due to increased blood volume, cardiac output, and blood pressure. 3. If there is a recent trauma, there is also a high risk of blunt contusion of the aortic coarctation, both of which can lead to localized laceration and hematoma of the aortic coarctation, and the formation of aortic coarctation. In a few cases, intra-aortic cannulation can also cause medically induced aortic coarctation. If it is due to trauma, then it is important to go to vascular surgery for further examination and interventional or surgical treatment if necessary to prevent the aortic coarctation from getting worse. Aortic coarctation may be very serious for everyone because the basic lesion of this disease is cystic mid-layer necrosis, a localized tear or necrosis of the elastic fibers in the middle layer of the artery, so it can lead to the appearance of aortic coarctation, which can be serious with rupture and bleeding and death.
