What is a negative urine test

A negative urinalysis is a routine urine test in which the items are normal, so it is called negative. If there are abnormal items, the urinalysis is called a positive result and requires further review or other ancillary tests to clarify the presence of urinary tract related diseases. The routine urine test contains several items, such as the pH of the urine, the presence of white blood cells and red blood cells in the urine, the normal level of bilirubin in the urine, the normal level of urinary bilirubin, the normal specific gravity of the urine, and a positive result for nitrite in the urine. All of these items have some significance, and if there is a positive result, further analysis is needed to address the results. If necessary, further urine retention for culture, ultrasound of the urinary system, cystoscopy, urethroscopy and other examinations are needed to rule out any related diseases. Therefore, a negative urine test is normal and a positive urine test is abnormal and requires further examination.
