Symptoms of coronary artery calcification

Coronary artery calcification is not necessarily symptomatic, it can appear on top of coronary artery atherosclerosis, which can cause lumen narrowing or even occlusion, and patients with mild lumen narrowing may not have any symptoms. The symptoms usually last for 1-5 minutes and do not exceed 15 minutes, and can often be relieved by rest or nitrate drugs. For severe coronary artery atherosclerotic valve stenosis or even occlusion, patients can show symptoms of myocardial infarction, manifested as severe chest pain, lasting for a long time, often more than half an hour, and accompanied by nausea, vomiting, cold sweat, blood pressure drop, shock, heart failure and other symptoms.
