Hand, foot and mouth vaccination schedule

The HFMD vaccine is a basic immunization with one injection and a booster injection with an interval of at least 1 month between the two injections, and the two doses are completed within 6 to 35 months of age.
HFMD vaccine is a vaccine to prevent HFMD in infants and children caused by enterovirus 71 infection. The HFMD vaccine is a two-dose vaccine that can be given from the 6th month of age and stimulates the production of antibodies in the infant’s immune system.
A booster shot (which must be given at least 1 month apart from the first shot) is given at 35 months of age to stimulate the body to produce secondary immunity, and the antibodies produced can maintain the body’s immunity cycle for at least 2 years.
Children who are allergic to the vaccine ingredients or are suffering from acute or chronic illnesses should not receive the vaccine for the time being, and it is recommended that they receive the vaccine after they have recovered. Infants and young children may experience mild fever and other adverse reactions after vaccination, and parents should pay attention to their care.
