When to check hormone 6

The hormone 6 test has different test times according to different test purposes. It is generally recommended that the test be performed on the 2nd-4th day of the menstrual period, but for patients who do not have menstrual periods for a long time and are eager to know the test results, the test can be performed at any time. During the 2nd-4th days of a woman’s menstrual cycle, all hormones in the body reach their basal levels, and testing during this period can provide an understanding of the basal hormone levels in the patient’s body and thus the state of the patient’s endocrine function. However, in fact, the menstrual cycle includes follicular phase, ovulation phase, menstrual phase and luteal phase, and the hormone levels in each cycle have a certain pattern, and there will be different normal reference ranges for testing the hormone levels in the body in different periods. Therefore, the test can be performed at any time in a large regular hospital, but it is necessary to clarify what period of the menstrual cycle the patient is in. In case of abnormal Hormone 6 test results, a comprehensive analysis should be made based on the patient’s clinical manifestations and other test results, and then symptomatic and cause-specific treatment should be given according to medical advice.
