There are two main reasons for gastric lamellar mucosal roughness and depression, one of them is caused by inflammatory stimulation, and the other is caused by early neoplastic lesions. 1. Chronic gastritis: Inflammatory cells stimulate gastric mucosa, the mucosal folds at the damaged place become flat or slightly sunken, and in serious cases, white plaques appear in the mucosa, forming flaky mucosal roughness and depression area. 2. Early gastric cancer: superficial depression type early gastric cancer is the most common, with the central depression of the lesion mucosa, and the edge can be seen as nodular or granular elevation, forming flaky or irregular mucosal roughness area, which often has dirty exudate or bleeding. It is recommended to carry out pathological biopsy as soon as possible to make a clear diagnosis in order to avoid delaying the condition and get timely and effective treatment.
