What kind of people are prone to coronary heart disease?

It is not only the elderly who get coronary heart disease. Nowadays, some people are not even 30 years old and already suffer from severe coronary heart disease or even myocardial infarction, but the older you are, the higher the risk of developing coronary heart disease. In addition to age, there are other risk factors for coronary heart disease. (1) Gender. Before the age of 55, the incidence of coronary heart disease is lower in women than in men because of the protection of estrogen, and after the age of 55, the incidence is comparable to that of men. (2) Occupation. The incidence of coronary heart disease is higher in brain workers than in manual workers, which is related to their reduced physical activity. (3) Hypertension. The incidence is higher in people with a history of hypertension. (4) Diabetes mellitus (5) Dyslipidemia (6) Obesity (7) Smoking (8) Dietary habits (9) Genetic factors. The above risk factors can exist alone or both or more together. Some studies have shown that when two or more risk factors exist, the risk of coronary heart disease is not a superposition of the two, but has a synergistic effect, and the more risk factors, the higher the incidence of coronary heart disease. Especially diabetes, its known as the equal risk of coronary heart disease, that is to say, with diabetes, it means you will get coronary heart disease.
