What kind of people are prone to coronary heart disease?

Numerous epidemiological data show that hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and smoking are the main risk factors for coronary heart disease. In addition, low physical activity, lack of physical activity, overweight, diabetes, alcohol consumption, mental stress and family history of coronary heart disease can affect the incidence of coronary heart disease and can lead to an earlier age of onset. Thus, these factors are all classified as secondary risk factors for coronary heart disease. Diabetes mellitus, peripheral atherosclerosis and stroke are equal risk signs for coronary heart disease.
