What are the arb drugs

ARBs are also known as angiotensin-converting enzyme receptor inhibitors, and the most common drugs are valsartan, telmisartan, candesartan, crosartan and irbesartan, etc. ARBs are effective in controlling blood pressure and preventing coronary artery disease and angina pectoris. However, ARB drugs have many complications and side effects, such as hyperkalemia, upright hypotension, dizziness, headache, and gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea and vomiting. The most serious ones may lead to allergy, shock and even endanger the life of the patient. Therefore, it is important to closely observe the adverse reactions during the process of taking the drug, and to stop or reduce the dosage of the drug in case of serious adverse reactions.
