What to do if your child has a fever at night

If your child has a fever at night, you can do the following: 1. Take the temperature, if the child’s temperature is lower than 38.5℃, you can take physical cooling methods to help the child cool down. 2. Adjust the room temperature to 27-28℃, give the child a warm bath, or you can wipe the child’s body with warm water, focusing on the armpits, elbow fossa, popliteal fossa, groin, etc. 3. If the child’s body temperature is above 38.5℃, you can give the child antipyretic drugs, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen suspension, and remind parents that if the child’s body temperature does not drop after taking antipyretic drugs and his or her mental state is not good, take the child to the hospital for symptomatic treatment.
