Children’s uveitis cured as normal?

There are chances that children’s uveitis can be cured as normal, which mainly depends on whether it is treated in time and the complications.
1. Anterior uveitis: the main symptoms include eye pain, photophobia, blurred vision, tearing, etc. Usually, the onset of the disease is acute, and if treated in time, the disease can basically return to normal, but if it is not cured for a long period of time, it may become chronic and easily complicate with cataract or secondary glaucoma, which makes it difficult to return to normal.
2. Intermediate uveitis: the onset of the disease is often hidden, light cases may be asymptomatic or only have mosquitoitis, while serious cases may have blurred vision, temporary myopia and other symptoms, and if it is not detected for a long period of time or untreated, it may lead to macular involvement, cataracts, optic atrophy, etc., and it may be impossible to return to normal completely.
3. Posterior uveitis: If the affected area is more serious, it may not be easy to recover, such as the formation of diffuse choroiditis and retinal vasculitis in the late stage.
If children have eye discomfort, it is recommended to send them to the hospital for examination in time to avoid missing the best treatment time.
