Dangers and side effects of contouring shots

Contour injections, i.e. Botox, are associated with a variety of adverse effects after injection, including digestive and muscular system effects, such as dizziness, blurred vision and other multifaceted involvement.
1. Digestive system and vision effects: the most frequent clinical symptoms of side effects include dizziness, blurred vision, weakness in opening both eyes, bilateral eyelid ptosis, dysphagia, choking on drinking water, weakness in chewing, tightness in the chest, fatigue, diplopia, dysarthria, and so on.
2. Muscular system: muscle involvement is dominated by the symptoms of eye and pharyngeal muscle involvement. In addition, symptoms such as decreased muscle strength of upper and lower limbs, difficulty in defecation, insomnia, drowsiness, sweating, palpitations, and so on, may also occur. Respiratory failure caused by respiratory muscle involvement has been reported in the literature in the past, but it is rare.
If any of these symptoms occur after botulinum toxin injection, you should communicate with your doctor to decide whether you can continue to use it. It should not be ignored so as not to jeopardize your health.
