Gonorrhea can usually be cured in a few days

Gonorrhea is divided into acute gonorrhea and chronic gonorrhea, and the time required to cure varies from person to person and needs to be further analyzed and judged according to the patient’s physical condition, the severity of the disease, the conditions of treatment, and whether or not the patient cooperates with treatment. Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the gonococcus bacteria and can be cured. It can be judged as cured when all the related symptoms and signs disappear after the end of the treatment without the history of sexual contact and the pathogenic test is negative after one week. Patients with acute gonorrhea can generally be cured in about 3 days through comprehensive treatment in the dermatology and venereology department of regular hospitals; if patients have been infected for a longer period of time or if early treatment is not standardized, it takes about 7-10 days to be cured. In contrast, patients with chronic gonorrhea need to insist on receiving regular treatment, and the symptoms can be reduced within 1 month, and generally within 2 months may be completely cured. Of course, the patient’s physical condition, age and whether or not to treat will affect the length of time it takes to cure. Patients with gonorrhea are advised to keep a good attitude, cooperate actively with the treatment and review on time. During the treatment period, it is necessary to pay attention to the regularity of work and rest, avoid overexertion, and eat a light diet and pay attention to personal hygiene.
