To determine whether a hernia has recurred, physical examination and imaging can be used to determine whether there is a recurrence. If a recurrence of hernia is detected, a local mass with a soft texture will be found again, which is more obvious when standing and can disappear completely or be reduced when lying down, and an abdominal ultrasound or abdominal CT can be performed. After a hernia recurrence is detected, the patient needs to go to the hospital again to improve the relevant examination and undergo surgery. During the treatment period, alcoholic beverages and spicy foods should be avoided.
