1. Organic constipation: the common causes of organic constipation are intestinal tuberculosis, colorectal cancer, hypothyroidism, diabetes, intestinal obstruction, etc., which need to be targeted treatment for the above causes, and laxatives can be used to alleviate the symptoms and improve the symptoms, commonly used lactulose, polyethylene glycol, senna and so on. Constipation caused by intestinal obstruction and intestinal tumor should be actively treated with surgery.
2. Functional constipation: patients without organic gastrointestinal pathology, the treatment can increase dietary fiber and drink more water, develop regular bowel habits, increase physical exercise to improve the symptoms, should avoid the abuse of laxatives. Drugs to promote intestinal peristalsis such as mosapride and itopride can be used, and some patients with constipation can be treated with microecological regulators to regulate intestinal flora, such as bifidobacteria, lactobacilli, etc. Cleansing enemas can be used if necessary.
