Wrist Rehabilitation

The rehabilitation training of wrist joint is related to the cause of injury, severity of injury, time of injury and other factors, mainly including joint mobility training, muscle strength training, functional activity training.
1. Joint mobility training: mainly includes ① active wrist flexion, extension, ulnar deviation and radial deviation exercises; ② forearm rotation and backward rotation exercises; ③ surrounding soft tissue stretching training; ④ joint loosening techniques.
2. Muscle strength training: mainly including ① unarmed or dumbbell resistance to wrist flexion, extension, ulnar deviation, radial deviation; ② the use of grip strength training for the hand grip; ③ the use of elastic bands or rubber bands for finger flexion, finger extension, split finger hand strength exercises and so on.
3. Functional activity training: mainly including hand grasping, finger-to-finger, palm-to-palm and other functional activity training, which can be combined with daily life activities such as screwing and towel wringing.
